Rancho Ontiveros Vineyard is an 8-acre vineyard planted exclusively to Pinot Noir, located 14 miles off the Pacific Ocean in the Santa Maria Valley of northern Santa Barbara County. From this estate, James Ontiveros produces Native9, initially a 99-case Pinot Noir project, named as a tribute to the Ontiveros family’s nine generations of California farmers. The 2006 vintage marks the family’s 225th year in California.
